McLaren CEO Zak Brown Trolls Red Bull with Savage ‘Tire Water’ Bottle at Miami GP
McLaren CEO Zak Brown might’ve just delivered the most savage moment of the Miami Grand Prix weekend, and it didn’t even happen on track.
During Friday’s Sprint Qualifying session, cameras caught Brown sipping from a black water bottle with bold white text that read: “TIRE WATER!”.
The cheeky label is a clear dig at Red Bull, who last year reportedly suspected that McLaren had found a way to inject water into their tyres to cool them, an accusation that never gained traction but definitely raised eyebrows.
Zak, never one to back down from a bit of paddock banter, decided to wear that conspiracy like a badge of honor… or in this case, like a hydration accessory.
Sprint Qualifying Recap: Kimi Antonelli Takes Historic Pole
While Zak was winning the internet, Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli was making history on track. The 18-year-old stunned the grid by taking pole position for the sprint, becoming the youngest driver ever to do so in any F1 format.
