Carlo Ancelotti Lands Brazil National Football Team Managerial Post, Check Out His Possible Contract with 5-Time World Cup Winners
Carlo Ancelotti, the current head coach of Real Madrid, has been named the new head coach of Brazil’s national football team. As per the official announcement made by the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation), the Real Madrid manager will resume work on May 26.
This contract marks many firsts as Ancelotti becomes the first permanent foreigner to coach Brazil’s national team. Also, this will be Ancelotti’s first job as the head coach of any national side. There are multiple Real Madrid players like Rodrygo, Vinícius Jr., Eder Militão and Endrick in the Brazilian national side, who are well aware of Ancelotti’s coaching techniques. CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues addressed the news release.
“Bringing Carlo Ancelotti to lead Brazil is more than a strategic move. It’s a statement to the world that we are determined to regain the top spot on the podium. He’s the greatest coach in history and now he’s in charge of the greatest team on the planet. Together, we will write glorious new chapters for Brazilian football.”
The appointment handed Ancelotti the task of coaching Neymar and becoming part of another classical rivalry, the Superclassic of the Americas – Brazil vs Argentina. Fans will be eager to watch Messi’s Argentina in action against the new Brazil side.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Possible Contract With Brazil National Football Team
When the news of Carlo Ancelotti joining the Brazil national side surfaced, the Brazilian news outlet Estadao and Marcel Rizzo broke the offer value. According to the sources, the Soccer Confederation (CBF) is preparing a contract worth nearly $900,000 per month for Carlo Ancelotti. This will make him the highest-paid national team coach, surpassing France’s Didier Deschamps and England’s Thomas Tuchel, who earn around $700,000 per month.
The amount also matches Ancelotti’s current salary at Real Madrid, gross $ 11 million per year.
Ancelotti’s first task at hand will be CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers matches against Ecuador and Paraguay, scheduled for June 4 and 9, respectively.
