Kyle Frederick Snyder, born on November 20, 1995, in Woodbine, Maryland, is one of the most accomplished American freestyle wrestlers in history. He gained national prominence through his collegiate wrestling career at Ohio State University, where he secured three consecutive NCAA heavyweight titles from 2016 to 2018.
In 2016, at just 20 years old, Snyder became the youngest American wrestler to win an Olympic gold medal, achieving this feat in the 97kg freestyle category at the Rio Games. He also earned a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and placed fourth in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
