Max Verstappen Reaches Personal Milestone On Red Bull’s Historic Day at Emilia Romagna Grand Prix 2025
It was supposed to be Ferrari’s day as the F1 season reached the seventh race of the season, meaning a race in Italy, the Home of Ferrari. But on the day, it was Red Bull who celebrated the victory, and their victorious racer, Max Verstappen, also claimed a milestone.
With just over one and a half hours for 309.051 KM (192.035 miles), Verstappen grabbed his second win of the F1 2025 season. But for Red Bull, it was the Red Bull Racing’s 214th win in the 21st century, surpassing Ferrari’s 213-win total.
Verstappen himself reached a milestone as he reached the third position for the laps led. He now finishes with the 3,502 laps led in his career. Sebastian Vettel was third all-time with 3,501 laps. Lewis Hamilton holds the top place with 5411 laps count, and Michael Schumacher takes the second spot with 5111 laps led.

Max Verstappen and Red Bull’s Dominance in 21st Century
Verstappen, with four consecutive titles and 65 race wins with Red Bull Racing, has been in form racer at the moment. In Red Bulls’ 214 race wins, Verstappen accounts for 65 race wins, that is 30% of total wins.
Red Bull won its first race in 21st century in 2009 and in next 156 seasons the Brit company reached the 214 mark, missing only In 2015. Ferrari, leader in the table for most race wins went four seasons without a win.
With Verstappen, the side is also about to set a record for the most laps led for a single team. The record holder is Schumi with 4388 laps led with Ferrari, and next is Hamilton, who led 4,210 for Mercedes. The records are impressive and speak volumes about the dominance of the racer and constructor, but it will be interesting to see whether Verstappen will reach the longevity of Hamilton and Schumacher or not.
