For the 6th time in a European club football two English teams will lock horns in a final, it might not be the most exciting build up giving their awful domestic run of 16th and 17th place in the Premier league, it still promises to be tense and exciting as both teams battle for an illustrious place in next seasons UEFA Champions league.
Manchester United have lost three times facing Tottenham Hotspur this season and will head into this tie with a lack of confidence. Losing to Tottenham for the fourth time will be the first time since Everton in the 1985-86 campaign.

Key players being available for this tie will improve either side’s chances of success in the final, and Manchester United are rocking with the news that the trio of Diogo Dalot, Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee trained on Tuesday morning at the club’s training Carrington ground before the team left for Bilbao later in the afternoon.

While all 3 players will continue to be monitored ahead of the all-important clash, Matthis De Ligt is certain to miss out on this tie as he has failed to recover on time since picking up a knee injury in May in the 4-3 defeat to Brentford.
All appeared smooth at North London ahead of the Europa League final until Tottenham Hotspur were rocked with the news ruling out the creativity of Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison, while midfielder Pape Matar Sarr will need a late fitness test.
Kulusevski hobbled off after 18 minutes against Palace, and despite reports of the player taking painkillers to be ready for this life, Tottenham confirmed after he missed training that the Swede will play no part in the final, which is a huge blow given his importance to the team. He has been a key player for Spurs in the Europa League this season, playing over 560 minutes, involved in 4 goals, and arguably being Tottenham’s best player in a dull season.
Tottenham would naturally turn to Maddison for creativity as his 12 goals and 11 assists this season(with 1 against Manchester united)has helped them reach the Europa league final but following confirmation that the England international has been ruled out for the rest of the season, Manager Ange Postecoglu is left scratching his lead as to potential replacement.
In the absence of these 2 players, Pape Matar Sarr who looks likely to be passed fit could be drafted into the creative role while Deep lying midfielder Rodrigo Bentacur could be pushed further up, Oderbert could also find his way back in midfield as manager Postecoglu has occasionally experimented with him in that position or Postecogku could switch to a 2 man attack of Solanke and Son
Talking about Heung-min Son, doubts about his fitness were dashed following his performance in the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa, indicating he is ready for the final. With his 11 goals in all competitions, he is only behind Brennan Johnson, Maddison and Solanke in the highest goal-scoring list.
Solanke, on the other hand, is back after the injury that was expected to keep him out for six weeks. He has scored 4 times against Manchester United this season and will be key again in the final.
