Most Goals and Assists in a Premier League Season
Mohamed Salah has etched his name into Premier League history by achieving the highest combined total of goals and assists in a 38-game season. During Liverpool’s match against West Ham United on Sunday, Salah provided an assist for Luis Díaz’s opening goal, bringing his tally to 45 goal contributions for the 2024–25 season—comprising 27 goals and 18 assists.
This remarkable feat surpasses the previous joint record of 44 goal contributions held by Thierry Henry in the 2002–03 season and Erling Haaland in the 2022–23 season.
Salah, who is currently leading the Golden Boot race, has been instrumental in Liverpool’s successful league campaign, with the team currently leading the Premier League by 14 points over Arsenal.
The Reds are on the cusp of securing their 20th league title, needing just two more victories to clinch the championship.
In addition to his on-field achievements, Salah recently extended his contract with Liverpool until 2027, reportedly making him one of the highest earners in the league.
