Jimmy Butler dice que está listo para "morir" por Stephen Curry y compañía después de las heroicas actuaciones del cuarto partido contra los Rockets.
The Golden State Warriors took a huge step toward the Western Conference semifinals with a thrilling 109-106 win over the Houston Rockets in Game 4. Thanks to some late-game magic from Jimmy Butler and a clutch defensive performance from Draymond Green, the Warriors now hold a 3-1 series lead and will have a chance to close it out in Houston on Wednesday night.
Playoff Jimmy Returns in Style
After missing Game 3 with a pelvic injury, Jimmy Butler made his presence felt in a big way.
He finished with 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists, shooting a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw line. Butler scored 14 of his points in the fourth quarter alone, helping the Warriors survive a major scare.
Speaking after the game, Butler said he has found his “joy back” since joining the Warriors — and made it clear he’s ready to “die” for his teammates.
“I’d die for these guys, for real. It’s so much fun.”
Butler revealed that the brief war of words with Rockets’ forward Dillion Brooks earlier in the game helped fire him up and get him going.
“Somebody said something to me. That’s all it takes, somebody saying something to me gets me going every time.”
By the end of the night, Butler had tied LeBron James for the most 25-point playoff games in the 2020s (32) and tied Michael Jordan for playoff games with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and no turnovers.

Brandin Podziemski Steps Up Big Time
With the Rockets putting extra focus on Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski stepped up and delivered a clutch performance. Podziemski scored 26 points, drilling six 3-pointers to keep the Warriors’ offense rolling. While Curry was held to 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting, Podziemski’s big shots made sure the Warriors stayed in the fight.
What’s Next?
The Warriors will now head to Houston with a chance to finish the series in Game 5. A win on Wednesday would send them to the Western Conference semifinals, while the Rockets will be fighting to keep their season alive.
