Consistency and dominance characterise Max Verstappen. The Dutch driver has been in the circuit for 10 years now. His entry started with a record – the youngest racer to enter the world championship race. First race – 2015 Australian Grand Prix with Toro Rosso at the age of 17 years and 166 days, the star was born. And now, a decade later, he secured another milestone.

After finishing second in the Jeddah GP 2025, Max Verstappen reached 3,110.5 points, surpassing former Red Bull and Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel to take second place on the all-time points list in Formula 1 history. Verstappen had earlier overtaken Fernando Alonso for third place with his win at the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton tops the chart with 4,893.5 points from 361 races.

Out of 214 races participated, Verstappen has won 64 (third highest all time) and added 51 other podium finishes. Verstappen’s rise and aggressive racing skills helped Red Bull to win two Constructor Championships, while Verstappen ended with four drivers’ titles.

The key reason for Max Verstappen’s massive points tally could be the new points system, where extra points started to be handed out for fastest laps and for sprint events. Since his time at Red Bull, Verstappenhas started dominating the circuits and is climbing the stats lists in every category.
