Tyrese Haliburton With ‘Cheeky’ Response to Ben Stiller Following Indiana Pacers’ Game 6 Win Over New York Knicks
If we go through the Knicks courtside celebrity list, Ben stiller is another regular along side Stan Lee. Both ‘die hard’ Knicks fans were looking to make things difficult for the Pacers on the court, while off the court, Ben Stiller took a jab at the Pacers’ guard, Tyrese Haliburton, commenting on his ‘entry look’.
“Good thing he brought his duffel for the flight to NY.” Stiller wrote, hinting at Game 7 at Madison Square Garden. The confident words were posted well before the game, when Tyrese’s all black look went viral. You might think that might put off Haliburton, then think again.
Hali scored 21 points and dished out 13 assists in the Pacers’ 125-108 victory over the Knicks. After the celebrations, the 25-year-old guard chose to respond to the comments made by Ben Stiller, and it was a fitting reply – “Nah, was to pack y’all up”. With the Knicks’ season concluded after the loss, these words will be ‘salt on the wound’.

Tyrese Haliburton and Indiana Pacers Thrash Three Contenders on Road to the NBA Finals
It was the 1999-2000 season with Reggie Miller, Jalen Rose, and co. that took the Indiana Pacers to the NBA Finals for the first time since joining the league in 1976. The three-time ABA champions struggled in the East for a long time. In 2024-25, the side was perennial contenders with Cavs, Knicks already leading the East. But the roster, led by Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam, seems to be a strong contender now after three tough series.
Keeping the Damian Lillard injury aside, the Pacers outsmarted the rest of the Milwaukee Bucks side, wrapping up the series 4-1 at home. Top-seeded Cavaliers were a real tough challenge for the Pacers, but a strong defensive display and plays from Siakam and Hali handed them a shocking 4-1 win against the 2016 champions.
Then came the Knicks, filled with new energy and the deepest roster. The Pacers needed their role players to step up. Obi Toppin, Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith were crucial in the long run, providing support to the Haliburton-Siakam duo as the series ended in six games. Now they will have the season’s top side Oklahoma City Thunder, with the NBA Finals series starting from June 5.
