The Indiana Fever franchise added a number of pieces to make a strong side, challenging for the title in Caitlin’s season 2. In the first season, Caitlin Clark lived up to her reputation, pushing her side to the postseason after a seven-season wait. Sadly, the inexperienced side lost against the Connecticut Sun. “We love playing in front of our fans. We’re building a championship-winning team. We’re excited about it, we’re excited about all the pieces we’ve added, a great coaching staff, and we’re fired up and working hard. I think we play basketball the right way and give our fans a lot to cheer about. Also, we love our teammates and work really hard.”
Kelsey Mitchell also looked positive on the preparations, but the most confident was AB. Aliyah Boston mentioned that the Fever is ready to take over the league. The WNBA 2025 preseason will start from May 3, as the Fever side will take on the Washington Mystics, and then the regular season will start from May 17, as the Fever side will take on the Chicago Sky at home.

Caitlin Clark Works Hard During the Off-Season
In the 2024 season, Caitlin Clark’s transition from Iowa to the Indiana Fever was not as smooth as expected. Still, the Olympic break transformed the player completely. Adjusting to the higher league requirements, she made adjustments and worked hard. Results were clear, and the Fever secured sixth overall and third place in the East.
The month-long break helped Clark to develop into a lethal player. Now she had a complete postseason. Any idea how much she would have worked on her game?
CC is known for her high-standard work ethic. Even though Clark in the first after of the 2024 season was bettered in the second half, Clark still needed some fine-tuning to compete with the elites and vets of the WNBA.
First, she worked hard on her physique. Then, for a more effective offensive game, she included a high volume of shooting practice (100 3-pointers and 300 shots total) in her routine. For more stamina, intense cardio was carried out. Her training regime also incorporates ball-handling drills and mental preparation. The fan base is ready for the new era and the Clark version 2.0.
