WWE Raw Results & Highlights: What Happened On Monday Night (August 12, 2025)
Monday night’s edition of WWE Raw exploded into action with a fiery opening promo. CM Punk stormed the ring in Quebec City, visibly agitated after last week’s Money in the Bank cash-in by Seth Rollins. With raw intensity, Punk delivered a scathing challenge, declaring he’ll “break [Rollins’] legs” to reclaim the world title that slipped through his grasp. Moments later, LA Knight confronted himonly to have both blindsided by Paul Heyman’s faction, The Vision, Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed.
From there, the night unfolded smoothly, with match after match, controversies, title defenses, and setups for future showdowns. Champions stood tall even amid chaos, and challengers rose, setting the tone for what promises to be an explosive road to Clash in Paris.
Tag Team Turmoil
Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano used classic heel tactics to frustrate AJ Styles and Dragon Lee throughout the bout, cutting the ring in half and isolating their opponents.
AJ Styles fought back with a fiery rally, hitting a Phenomenal Forearm on Americano, but the referee was distracted. This allowed Mysterio to slide in with the loaded mask shot to Dragon Lee, knocking him out cold. Americano quickly capitalized, securing the three-count to steal the win controversially.
Sami Zayn vs. Rusev
Sami Zayn and Rusev traded heavy strikes and power moves, keeping the crowd on edge from the opening bell. Zayn’s quickness helped him evade Rusev’s brute strength, even countering a Machka Kick with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near-fall. Just as the momentum swung in Zayn’s favor, Solo Sikoa and the rest of MFT hit the ring, pummeling both men.
Sheamus stormed out to even the odds, turning the match into an all-out ringside brawl that left security scrambling.
IYO SKY’s Unexpected Loss
Originally set to take on Naomi for the Women’s World Title, IYO SKY instead found herself in a match against Roxanne Perez after Naomi was mysteriously pulled from the card. Perez captured the win in a surprising result
IYO SKY looked confident early, using her aerial agility to keep Roxanne Perez on the defensive, but Perez’s resilience kept her in the fight. The crowd rallied behind Perez as she countered a moonsault attempt with a well-timed dropkick, shifting the momentum. In the closing moments, Perez dodged a running knee and hit Pop Rox out of nowhere for the shock pinfall. SKY was visibly furious after the loss, hinting at backstage tensions over Naomi’s sudden absence.
Becky Lynch Retains
Becky Lynch controlled the pace from the outset, grounding Maxxine Dupri with technical holds and sharp strikes. Dupri had a brief surge after countering a Dis-Arm-Her attempt with a big boot, but Becky quickly regained momentum.
After wearing Dupri down with targeted arm attacks, “The Man” locked in the Dis-Arm-Her at the center of the ring. With no escape in sight, Dupri was forced to tap, and Becky celebrated with the crowd, holding her title high.
Main Event Mayhem
CM Punk and LA Knight joined forces to face Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed. Interference from Rollins turned the tide, leading to chaos and ultimately, a disqualification finish.
Immediately afterward, Raw GM Adam Pearce announced Rollins will defend his World Heavyweight Title in a fatal-four-way at Clash in Paris against Punk, Knight, and Jey Uso.
