Liverpool Fan Paddy Pimblett Calls Trent Alexander-Arnold a “Lizard” Amid Real Madrid Transfer Rumours

UFC star and passionate Liverpool fan Paddy Pimblett didn’t hold back when asked about Trent Alexander-Arnold potentially leaving Anfield this summer. Ahead of his UFC 314 co-main event clash against Michael Chandler, Pimblett took a brutal swipe at the Reds’ full-back, calling him a “lizard.”

“He’s a lizard,” Pimblett told Sky Sports. “He’s taken up the chance to be a legend and maybe have a statue built in his honour. Now he’s going to get forgotten about.”

Trent, a product of Liverpool’s academy, has been at the heart of the club’s success in recent years. The full-back has made 349 appearances for the Reds, scoring 22 goals and providing 89 assists. But with his contract set to expire this summer, a free transfer to Real Madrid is looking more and more likely.

Los Blancos are reportedly targeting Trent as the long-term successor to Dani Carvajal, who has struggled with injuries and is nearing the twilight of his career. Given his ability to play both as a right-back and in midfield, Trent fits perfectly into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans. His creativity, passing range, and versatility have made him one of the best in the world in his position.

Having England teammate Jude Bellingham already settled at the Santiago Bernabéu could also help Trent adjust quickly if the move goes through.
