Video: ‘Walk of Shame’ for Boston Celtics’ Legend Paul Pierce After Franchise’s Defeat Against New York Knicks, Gets Trolled by Former Teammate

Paul Pierce

The Knicks stunned defending champions Boston Celtics in Game 1 at the TD center. In the post-game analysis, Celtics’ former champion and legend Paul Pierce made a bet about the Game 2 result. The crazy bet was ‘if the Celtics lost Game 2 to the Knicks, Pierce would talk to work in his robe, barefoot’ While it was not named ‘walk of shame’, but Pierce was certainly not proud and looked devastated losing the bet.

The Celtics who won the regular season series against the Knicks was once again stunned by Jalen Brunson’s side who came back from a 20-points deficit and now has a 2-0 lead in the series. With the loss, Pierce was forced to fulfill his commitment as he walked to his work place in rob. Pierce, ‘man of his words’, captured the video and posted on social media also.

He even met a few fans on his way to work. The distance was 20.2 miles, and the Celtics’ star took just over eight hours to complete the ‘journey’.With some commentary in between, Pierce was heard saying,

“This is crazy dog, I can’t believe this. C’s got me out here like this. I’m sweating. So I’m about 4 miles in right now. So I think I got another 16 miles?”

NBA fans were happy to see Pierce being a man of his word and go through with the bet. But the journey was not complete without a few trolls, especially from his former teammate Kevin Garnett.

Keyshawn Johnson and Kevin Garnett Check On Paul Pierce

It was eight hours walk and there had to be some support system for the 47-year-old forward to pull of the 20-mile walk. So, Kevin Garnett and Keyshawn Johnson made sure that Pierce was ok. The Jets Wide receiver Johnson handed Pierce some water when he was ‘just’ 5-miles away from his destination while KG was also there to encourage his former Celtics teammate.

Yet, KG couldn’t resist trolling Pierce for his condition and asked Pierce to ‘wear your seatbelt’. Pierce laughed it out. Johnson also took a chance as he shared Pierce’s photo in a robe and commented, “My guy Paul Pierce walking into Fox Studios, today 2PM tune in to FS1” with laughing emojis. Paul might not take any further bets after this, but will hope that the Celtics will win the series.
