Despite facing health challenges, including a stroke in 2022 that led to paralysis on her left side, she remained a steadfast supporter of her son’s ambitions.

Harmon’s collegiate football career began at Michigan State, where he played from 2021 to 2023, recording 71 tackles and 3.5 sacks. In 2024, he transferred to the University of Oregon, where he had a standout season with 45 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, and multiple forced fumbles and pass breakups.
