Playoff Jimmy Comes to the Rescue as Warriors Survive Grizzlies Comeback to Advance
Warriors vs Grizzlies: Jimmy Butler dropped 38 points and Stephen Curry added 37, as the Golden State Warriors pulled off a 121-116 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in a thrilling NBA Play-In game on Tuesday night. The star duo delivered when it mattered most, combining for a massive 75 points.
Butler was relentless from the jump, attacking the rim, creating for others, and keeping Golden State’s offense alive when Curry briefly went cold. He finished with seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
“I think you and everybody else want me to shoot more 3s,” Butler said postgame. “But I like shooting layups.”
Stephen Curry Closes It Out Late
Stephen Curry, who was playing with an injured thumb, proved to be clutch once again in the final quarter. With just under two minutes left, he drained back-to-back 3-pointers, breaking the Grizzlies’ momentum and giving the Warriors just enough breathing room to escape.
He also added eight rebounds, four assists, and a steal.
Grizzlies Collapse in Final Seconds
To their credit, the Grizzlies never backed down. Even with Ja Morant leaving the game for a brief period with an ankle injury in the second half, they battled back and had a shot to tie the game in the closing moments.

Now they face a must-win elimination game at home against the winner of Dallas Mavericks vs. Sacramento Kings.
