Barcelona is the Copa del Rey’s most successful team, winning the competition a record 31 times. However, they have not reached the final since their 2021 success over Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid, with 20 Copa del Rey triumphs, has the most recent success, as this is their second final in three seasons. This meeting between these fierce rivals marks the 260th competitive clash, and the stakes are higher than ever.

Barcelona have twice beaten Madrid this season (5-2, 4-0), with a combined aggregate of 9-2, making them favorites in a tie that could potentially set them up for only the third treble in Barça senior men’s football history.
