Trent’s has Liverpool contract till June 30 but the Club World Cup competition will start from June 14. In order to register him on Real Madrid’s books, the deal need to be struck before the start of June. Which will make is a transfer rather than free agent signing like Kylian Mbappe.
As per Trent’s current contract, he earns $970,000 monthly wages. To pursue Liverpool to let TAA leave before June, the Whites might have to let go his June wages and register him on the roster. Liverpool side will get some incentives for presumably inactive star, who is destined to leave in a month.
Importantly, FIFA has opened two additional transfer windows for teams participating in the Club World Cup. The first runs from June 1 to June 10, while the second window is reserved for teams advancing to the quarterfinals, and it starts from June 27 to July 3. As for Real Madrid, the Spanish giants will take on Al Hilal on June 18 to start their CWC campaign.
