Caitlin Clark Sets Four Records in Indiana Fever’s Loss Against Atlanta Dream in Game 2 of WNBA 2025 Regular Season
Caitlin Clark on the basketball court is just mesmerizing. It is not just the pace of her game, but the pace at which she is climbing up the leaderboard is also amazing. During the Indiana Fever’s recent loss against the Atlanta Dream, CC once again set another record, and it’s a norm now.
With 27 points and 11 assists, Caitlin Clark recorded her tenth game with 20+ points and 10+ assists, matching the record with Chicago Sky veteran Vandersloot. While Vandersloot did it in 394 games, Caitlin too just 42 games to reach the milestone.
And the records keep on coming for Caitlin Clark. She became the first player in WNBA history to open the season with back-to-back 20-point, 10-assist games. She also surpassed Sabrina Ionescu with her sixth 25+ point and 10+ point performance in the regular season.

The sharpshooter maintained her scoring and playmaking form to become the first player with multiple 25+ points, 10+ points assists, 5+ rebounds and 5+ made three pointers. CC had five rebounds and also netted five long-range shots. But her individual accolades couldn’t help Fever in the game.
Indiana Fever ‘Fumble’ On Caitlin Clark’s Historic Night
Indian Fever came back from a double-digit deficit multiple times, and in the closing moments, they had the possible game winner in their hand. With 9 seconds on the board, Natasha Howard got the inbound from Caitlin Clark close to the rim, but Nia Coffey managed to block her, and 3 Fever players close to the ball couldn’t win back the loose ball.
That was not the only glaring issue with the Fever team on the night. The team shot just above 61% from the free throw line, losing 10 points in the process, and the difference of loss in the Fever vs Dream game was just 1. Also a few defensive lapses also led to easy buckets for the Atlanta Dream team, who now won their first game against the Indiana team in their last six encounters. Both teams will face each other next on Thursday, and Caitlin Clark will be looking for some redemption.
