Judgment Day Is All Gold Again, But It Won’t Be For Long

Will The Judgment Day Split Up At SummerSlam 2025?

The Judgment Day has come a long way from when it operated under the guidance of Edge to now, a title-driven faction led by Finn Balor.

The latest event that made it all gold again was the Tag Team title match held on Monday night’s Raw, where The Judgment Day took on The New Day to become the new Tag Team Champions.

Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio and Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan held their gold high. Now, with Finn Balor & JD McDonagh winning the Men’s Tag Titles, every active member of Judgment Day is carrying championship gold. But the question is for how long?

Unexpected Reshuffle In The Judgment Day

Fans’ jaws dropped when Finn Balor proposed replacing Liv Morgan, ruled out with a shoulder injury, with Roxanne Perez, drawing wide-eyed reactions from other members. He claimed that the only motive was to see every Judgment Day member draped in gold before proposing the vote. Everyone voted yes except Dominik, who gave an uncertain “alleged yes.” It led to Roxanne being decorated as the Tag Team Champion, for which Liv had worked tirelessly.

Balor added that Liv would be thrilled to see the Judgment Day draped in gold, but thrilled in what way? Only time will tell us.

How Long Will This Title Reign Last?

This title reign already has its first major test lined up, and it’s a big one. Their reign already feels threatened, with a match lined up at WWE Evolution, the upcoming all-women’s PLE. Tag Team Champions Raquel and Roxanne will have to defend their title against one team from Raw, one team from SmackDown, and one team from NXT in a Fatal Four-Way match to keep the title reign going.

But can they surprise us? Absolutely. And deep down, that’s exactly the twist fans crave. It gives a Judgment Day story arc that will pay off heavily when Liv returns for what she left.

The Judgment Day is proving to be just the spice fans needed, with internal scuffles brewing and the title reigns just starting to heat up, with AJ Styles vowing to take the Intercontinental Championship title from Dominik when he is medically cleared to step into the ring with Styles.

They’ve got what they wanted. But in WWE, getting gold is one thing, keeping it while staying united is another. Will this be their golden era or just a golden tease?
